2017 Offering to Cuba:
In partnership with the International Mission Board, we raised money to support Cuba to the Nations. Cuban believers and missionaries have the opportunity to take the Gospel to places in South America that other people cannot go. Our missions offerings helped to ensure these missionaries are able to keep going.
2017 One Life Project:
61 million kids are left behind in Southeast Asia while their parents seek work in larger cities. These children are left with family members or neighbors and must fend for themselves. To minister to these kids, One Life is starting One Center, a project focused on developing community centers where those left behind can find love, help, and support.
Lifetime Missions Giving:
The central aspect of our mission statement heralds the fact that we exist to proclaim the Gospel. We want this truth to saturate every moment of your students’ time at camp. For this reason, we continue to raise money to support missionaries and missions organizations around the world. We hope to continue to support for years to come.
Next summer at Crossings, we are going to dive into the Psalms and discover that we are wired for worship. In everything that we do, we are to worship God in our work, in our relationships, in our thinking, and in every area of our life. In a hyper-connected world, we all need to disconnect from our various distractions, idols, and sins so that we can reconnect to our Creator and Redeemer
Crossings Kids in 2018 is going on a Safari—a biblical safari. Join us as we travel to Luke chapter 15. In Luke 15, Jesus presents to us a world of lost things — a lost son, a lost sheep, and a lost coin. Like the lost son, we do things in our own way. Like the lost sheep, we think we know the way when we don’t. Like the lost coin, we need to be found.
Our focus camps are designed to equip, engage, and encourage students in their faith. Truth in Public equips students to engage the culture and proclaim the Gospel in the public sphere. Crossings Underground is designed to help students explore the roots of their faith. This leadership focused camp will teach students to defend the faith, teach the Word, live for Jesus, and proclaim the Gospel. Crossings on Mission teaches students how to live missionally by pairing Crossings biblical content with hands-on training and experience in community service, evangelism, and construction projects.
Mock Day at Camp
We have spent years honing our schedule to ensure your students and kids have a life-transforming and fun experience at camp. We promise your students will hear the Gospel of Jesus proclaimed every day, experience robust biblical teaching, and participate in Christ-centered worship. Our prayer is that their life will be changed.
Mornings = Gospel + Heart Focus
A high-energy time every morning that includes lots of fun, live sketches, videos, announcements, games, and music. Morning Celebration ensures your kids are awake and ready to study God’s Word.
We separate middle and high school and give them in-depth exposition of God’s Word from our camp pastor followed by a staffer-led breakout time of discussion and application.
After Bible study, our staffers invest in your students via games, guided conversations, and hang out time. Our staffers are trained to build relationships with your students for the purpose of Gospel transformation.
Afternoons = High-Energy-Indoor + Outdoor Activities
Points of Impact (POIs)
We make every moment intentional. At the end of each event, our staffers spend a few minutes discussing with students how that particular activity illustrates the Gospel.
Our premier properties offer private recreation lakes with lifeguards present at all times. Students have the opportunity to experience water zip-lines, blobs, water slides, and more.
During Connect, we encourage students to have personal quiet time in Bible Study and prayer. Devotional material based on the morning Bible study is provided to each student.
This is a designated time for you, the Group Leader, to connect with your students through devotions, discussions, team building activities, or simply hanging out.
Evening = Worship + Bible + Relationships
The worship service is the heartbeat of camp. During this evening gathering, we exalt Christ together in song, dig deep into the Word of God, and apply the Gospel to students’ lives.
Crossings Competitive, Combined, and Collaborative Experiences. Students articipate with the entire camp in Vertical Challenge and Crossings After Dark.
We want to strengthen the relationship between students and their church leaders. This is a designated time for you to meet with your group, debrief, worship, and pray together.
Before lights out, the Shack opens to purchase tasty treats and refreshing beverages. This is a time for you and the staff to continue developing relationships with your students.
